OUR LEGACY

North Phoenix Black Belt Academy officially opened in February of 2005.

Mr. Rueckert, as a second generation Martial Arts Instructor and School Owner, has over 18 years of instructional experience and has a successful track record of creating world class athletes both on and off the mats.
 
The Chief Instructor is Mr. Rueckert a 5th Degree Black Belt and Nationally Certified Instructor. Mr. Rueckert is the current Arizona Champion for Forms and Sparring and has held the Arizona title since 2004. He is also certified in Child Safety, Bully Prevention, Weapons training, Sword training, Joint Locks, Pressure Points, and Gun and Knife Defense.
 
The Director of Operations is Mrs. Rueckert a 2nd Degree Black Belt and Nationally Certified Instructor and was Arizona 's Weapons, Forms and Sparring Champion for 2007. She is certified in Child Safety, Bully Prevention, Disruptive Student Management, and S.H.A.R.P (Sexual Harassment Assault & Rape Prevention). Mrs. Rueckert has a degree in Child Psychology from the University of Kansas and has been a featured motivational speaker all across the country.
